our stay at hay farm was fantastic! we enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast featuring local produce. The option of real bread toast. the spacious double room had a warm en-suite shower, and the views of the beautiful northumberland...

Wow, what a gem! I enjoyed the peaceful garden views from my room while sipping morning coffee, and those hearty breakfasts with fresh eggs were unforgettable. The only downside was that I missed having a tv in the room for late-night entertainment, but I recommend taking advantage of the lovely garden space to unwind. 🌼

The views from my room were breathtaking. I could see the Cheviot Hills clearly. The room was spacious, clean, and had a fridge, which was a nice touch. Rachel, the host, made everything feel personal and welcoming. Each morning featured a well-cooked breakfast with plenty of options, including fresh local produce. The common lounge area was cozy with a real fire, perfect for relaxing after a day out. I did notice the shower pressure was a bit low, but the comfort of the room made up for it. Wi-Fi connection could have been faster too, as it felt a little slow at times. Still, the peaceful setting and Rachel’s attentiveness made the stay memorable. I would definitely consider returning for a longer stay.

I had an amazing time with beautiful views across the Cheviots and enjoyed the warm hospitality of Rachel, whose breakfasts were such a delightful way to start my day. I found it hard to leave this charming spot just a few steps from the Heatherslaw Light Railway, making it perfect for my city strolls while surrounded by nature and history.
